About Me

My name is Keegan Harrett, and I was born in Camden East, Ontario. Growing up I loved video games, comics, and books, and always wanted to tell a story of my own. When I was 11 I read the manga One Piece, which deeply impacted me and made me realize the power of comics and illustration, as well as the fact that even someone like me could make them. Since then, I have dedicated myself to telling stories, both in my design work and in my illustration skills. I aim to create art and designs that tell a story, and make people happy or appreciate art the same way it has made me feel.

In my free time outside of drawing and design work, I enjoy playing video games and reading comics/manga, as well as going for walks, listening to music, and playing card games. I spend most of my free time working on drawings and sketches, or practicing my art and design skills in other ways. My goal in the future is to make comics of my own or work in a place that lets me tell stories, whether they’re fictional, brand stories, or anything else that can tell a narrative of some kind. I’m hardworking, passionate, and bring plenty of ideas and illustrative abilities to the table.

Illustration Work
My illustration work is heavily based around character designs and worldbuilding ideas. I work in both black and white and in colour, and have consistent themes of body horror, angels, knights, science fiction and transhumanist theme, and gore and organs. My aim with my art is to make comics, and so much of my work is based in a singular world and concept I wish to explore in the future.

Graphic Design Work
I have a variety of graphic design skills and work, from posters to website designs to magazine layouts and logos. Unlike illustration, I don’t have a specific style or approach with design, and am happy to take on any kind of work provided I have the skills to tackle it.
